염유

염유(상 한다)는, 공문십철의 한 명.

이름은 구, 글자는 자유.행정 수완이 뛰어나 계씨에게 이용된다.공자로부터도 정치의 재능을 인정받아 큰 마을이나 경의 집의 장관으로서 관리할 수 있으면 평 되었다.

한편, 소극적인 인품이었다고 사 까는, 공자로부터 「(듣)묻는 대로 사레이것을 실시할 수 있다」라고 격려되고 있다.

「논어」옹야편 및 자로편에서는 「염자」라고 불리고 있다.
