아리나족

죄를 재판하는 10명의 왕 전쟁의 전장이 된 5강지방(판쟈브)

아리나족(산스크리트 어□□□□Alina)은, 고대 인도의 종교 문헌 「리그・베다 (인도의 성전)」에 언급되는 부족의 하나(7.18. 7).죄를 재판하는 10명의 왕 전쟁에, 풀족을 시작으로 하는 죄를 재판하는 10명의 왕군의 하나로서 참전해, 스다스왕 인솔하는 트리트족・바라타족군에 졌다.

현장의 「대당서역기」에 기재되어 있는, 현재의 아프가니스탄과 파키스탄의 국경 부근의 누리스탄주에 해당하는 토지의 이름이, 아리나족의 것이다고 하는 설이 있다.
