오토・브렌델

오토・루돌프・말틴・푸렌 델(Otto Rudolf Martin Brendel, 1862년 8월 12일- 1939년 9월 6일)은 독일의 천문학자이다.

베를린 가까이의 Niederschonhausen로 태어났다.유럽 각지에서 배워, 1890년에 박사 학위를 얻었다.1898년에 겟틴겐 대학의 천문학과 측지학의 교수가 되었다.

주된 실적은 천체역학에 관한 것으로, 이론적 연구의 한편, 소행성, 혜성, 이중성의 관측도 갔다.코아마체의 이론을 연구해 1898년부터 1911년간에 「소행성의 이론」(Theorie der Kleinen Planeten)을 발표했다.1894년 프랑스 과학 아카데미의, 다모와조상을 수상했다.

소행성(761) 브렌데리아는, 브렌델을 기념해 이름이 붙여졌다.
