에드워드・다이카-(Edward Duyker, 1955년 3월 21일- )는 오스트레일리아의 역사가이다.현재 오스트렐리안・카톨릭 대학인문학부히토시 교수(honorary professor)로, 시드니 대학 언어 문화 연구소 프랑스 연구 학부 명예 강사(honorary senior lecturer)를 겸무.

경력
1955년 3월 21일, 네델란드인의 아버지와 모리셔스인의 어머니의 8명의 아이의 장남으로서 태어난다.
1977년에 라트르브 대학을 우수한 성적으로 졸업해, 1981년에는 멜버른 대학에서 「인도에 있어서의 모택동 주의자의 나크사라이트 운동」이라고 하는 논문에서 박사 학위가 수여된다.
그 앞으로 1983년까지 수도 캔버라로 국방성의 정보 담당관으로서 근무.그 사이, 단기간이지만 브리스베인의 그리피스. 대학의 강사도 근무했다.
1984년에 시드니에 옮겨 역사가로서의 활동을 시작한다.
1996년에는 모리셔스 공화국보다 재뉴사우스웨일스주주 명예 영사에 임명되어 2002년까지 그 임에 있었다.
2007년에 오스트렐리안・아카데미・오브・휴머니티의 회원으로 선택된다.[1]
