스프라이트(전설의 생물)

스프라이트(영:sprite)는, 주로 유럽의 민간 전승에 있어서의 전설의 생물.

요정의 일종으로 여겨지지만, 가끔 망령을 가리키는 경우도 있다.또, 바람의 정령으로 여겨져 시르후와 동일시 되거나 물의 정령으로 여겨지는 일도.

이름의 어원은 라틴어의 「spiritus」로부터.
