「Self Control」(셀프・컨트롤)은, 일본의 음악 유닛인 TM NETWORK의 4장째의 앨범.
1987년 2월 26일에 EPIC SONY 레코드보다 릴리스 되었다.

해설
- 「신곡에 의한 베스트 앨범」을 의식했다고 한다.싱글보다 한발 앞서 오리콘 주간 앨범 베스트 10내에 처음으로 차트 인 했다.
- 앨범에 앞서 2월 1일에 동명의 싱글 「Self Control (방주에 예그라고)」가 발매되었지만, 선행 싱글을 「Self Control」으로 할까 「Don't Let Me Cry」로 할까로 논의가 있었다고 한다.「Self Control」은 전혀 싱글을 의식해 만들지 않았지만, 당시의 음악 잡지의 편집자가 이 곡을 듣고, 「이것 싱글에 좋지 않아?」라고 한 한마디로 정해졌다.
- 1곡째에서 5곡째까지는 업 넘버를, 6곡째에서 10곡째까지 「Spanish Blue」를 제외해 발라드를 배치하고 있다.
- 이 작품의 재킷으로는 키네상등이 선글라스를 벗고 있다.
- 가사 카드에는 이하와 같은 메시지가 실려 있다.

See. there are many things well controlled by some powers on the earth. Such as controlled air, controlled electric, controlled money, and so on. But what about mind? What makes you stop dancing? What makes you stop crying? What makes you stop laughing? Nobody can control your mind but YOURSELF. That's the "Self-control". "Self-control" means to hide feelings and to cut desires. "Self-control" is necessary indeed. But sometimes, it keeps you away from the truth that you really want to know. Because when you selfcontrol, you might give up, or lose something important. You might give up even your dreams. Our smart fans, Now you understand what this album's title means. "Self-control" is a kind of the antithesis. So,when you listen to our fourth album, set your mind free from "Self-control". Express as you feel. Do as you like. Carry on your dreams. And we hope our music "The FANKS" will help you do it. Thank you.

- 8 th싱글.표기는 특히 되어 있지 않지만, 싱글판과 달리, 인트로, 1 녹눈으로부터의 사이주, 리프레 인등 전체적으로 길어지고 있는, 마지막 녹이 스테레오 장치・리믹스 되고 있는 등 앨범 버전이 되고 있다.또, 멜로디가 전의 곡으로부터 연결되고 있기 때문에(위해), 최초의 부분에서 전의 곡의 마지막이 일순간 들려 온다(트럭・마크의 당시의 사격에 의한다).
