탄타(Thang-Ta)란, 인도・마니풀주의 메이테이족(영문판)에 의해서 만들어진, 무기 사용을 기초로 한 무술이다.

마니프리어로 thang은 검을 의미해, ta는 창을 의미한다.그 이름이 나타내 보이도록(듯이), 검과 창은 탄타의 기초적인 무기이다.
