응용 물리학

응용 물리학(우요우부낚시 금액, Applied physics)은, 보다 공학에 가까운 연구 대상을 취급하는 물리학 분야를 가리킨다.또 응용 물리학은, 보다 산업이나 경제분야와의 관계가 강한 물리학의 분야이다고도 말할 수 있다.단, 물리학과 응용 물리학을 명확하게 나누는 것은 어렵고, 그 구별이 판연으로 하지 않는 분야나 연구 대상이 존재한다.

물리학은, 이상적인 조건하에서의 실험, 사고를 실시하지만(그렇지 않은 경우도 많다), 응용 물리학으로는 보다 현실적(먼저 나타내 보인 것처럼 공업, 산업, 경제와의 관련되어)인 문제를 연구 대상으로 하고 있다.

물성 물리학의 분야(반도체 관련→반도체 공학, 양자일렉트로닉, 스핀트로니크스 등 많이 존재)는, 응용 물리학과 깊은 연결을 가지고 있다.

일본에서는, 1946년, 사단법인으로서 응용 물리학회가 설립되고 있다.
