밴쿠버 박물관

밴쿠버 박물관(Museum of Vancouver, MOV)은, 캐나다의 밴쿠버에 있는 박물관. 1894년에 시립 박물관(The City Museum)으로서 창설되어 1968년에 캐나다 건국 100주년을 기념해 「100주년 박물관(Centennial Museum)」으로서 현재의 장소에 재건되었다.1981년에는 현재의 명칭 「밴쿠버 박물관(the Vancouver Museum)」이라고 개칭.

2008년부터 박물관의 운영 내용에 재검토가 더해져 그 결과적으로 2009년에 신생 「밴쿠버 박물관(Museum of Vancouver, 약칭：MOV)」으로서 재건되었다.

박물관의 입구앞에 있는 스틸제의 게의 오브제는 조지・노리스가 하이다족의 전승을 소재에 만든 것이다.이 오브제는 타임 캡슐로도 되어 있어 박물관의 백 주년이며, 건국2백 주년이기도 한 2067년에 열릴 예정으로 되고 있는[^{요점 출전}].
