카츠라과(Cercidiphyllaceae)는 쌍자엽 식물의 과의 하나.

카츠라속의 카츠라와 히로하카트라의 2종만으로부터 된다.속의 라틴명은 「세이요우하나즈오우 Cercis를 닮은 잎의 것」이라고 하는 의미.

카츠라(Cercidiphyllum japonicum)

일본 각지의 산지에 분포한다.하트형의 잎이 특징적.가을에는 노랗게 물이 든다.

히로하카트라(C. magnificum)

중부 지방의 산지에게만 분포해, 잎이 크다.또 카츠라의 나무 껍질은 젊은 동안부터 세로에 갈라진 곳이 들어가지만, 히로하카트라는 꽤 대목이 될 때까지 매끄럽다.
