대추에 포함되는 지지 핀의 호모 로그 중(안)에서, 가장 항감미 활성이 강하지만, 호우라이아오카즈라의 잎에 포함되는 김네마산I만큼이 아닌[²].

지지 핀은, 대부분의 탄수화물(글루코오스, 후르크토스등 )이나 그 외의 감미료(스테비오르 배당체, 사카린, 아스파테임등 ), 단 아미노산(글리신등 )의 감미를 느끼기 어렵게 하지만, 쓴 맛이나 산미, 짠맛등 , 그 외의 맛에는 영향을 주지 않는[³].
