마르텐・홋타인(Maarten Houttuyn 혹은 Houttuijn, 라틴어 표기 Martinus Houttuyn, 1720년- 1798년 5월 2일)은, 네델란드의 의사, 박물학자이다.린네의 「자연의 체계」에 영향을 받고, 37권의 박물서를 출판했다.

생애

호룬에 출판 업자의 아들 태어났다.라이덴 대학에서 의학을 배워 1749년에 학위를 얻고, 당분간 호룬으로 의사를 맡은 후 암스테르담으로 옮겼다.1761년부터 1785년간에 원 세워 37권의 식물서,"Natuurlijke Historie of uitvoerige Beschryving der Dieren, Planten en Mineraalen, volgens het Samenstel van der Heer Linnaeus"(가(뜻)이유 「린네씨의 체계에 의한 동물, 식물, 광물의 자연사」)를 출판했다.22,000 페이지로 296의 도판을 포함한 대저로, 린네의 「자연의 체계」등의 분류학의 저서에 근거하고 있었다.
