개요

히드로키시카르본산으로부터 분자내 폐환에서 나카・대원 환락톤을 형성하는 합성 반응(시이나 락톤화 반응)에 이용된다.반응은 실온으로 알칼리성 및 중성 조건하에서 진행한다.매크로 락톤화 뿐만이 아니라, 에스테르화에도 이용 가능.
