에코 마크

에코 마크는, 환경보전에 도움이 되어, 환경에의 부하가 적은 상품을 위한 표지이다.환경 라벨링 제도의 하나.소비자가, 생활과 환경과의 관계에 대해 생각하거나 환경에 배려된 상품을 선택하기 위한 기준으로서 도움이 될 수 있는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다.

이 마크는, 환경성 소관의 재단법인 일본환경협회에 의해서 1989년에 제정되었다.현재는, 국제 표준화 기구(ISO) 환경 레이블 표시의 Type1로서 운영되고 있다.사용하려면 , 협회의 인정 및 계약이 필요하다.또, 에코 마크는, 재단법인 일본환경협회의 등록상표이기도 하다.
