주의자

주의자(주의자)란, 전쟁 전・전시중의 일본에 있어서의 좌익사상의 소유자에 대한 통칭의 하나.

마르크스주의(공산주의, 사회주의)나 무정부주의 등, 좌익적인 이데올로기를 가지는 사람 전반을 표현하는 말로서 이용되었다.일본의 좌익이 천황제를 부정적으로 규정하고 있어, 일본의 조선・대만 식민지 지배등을 강하게 비판하고 있었기 때문에, 반체제적인 사상으로 간주해져서 특고경찰등에 의한 탄압의 대상이 되었다.
