개호 복지학(회개 닦고 금액)과는 자신 힘만으로는 생활을 유지하는 것이 곤란해져 버린 고령자, 장애인 등 개호를 필요로 하고 있는 사람에게의 지원에 관한 지식, 기능등을 연구하는 것으로써 사회공헌을 목표로 한다고 하는 학문.현재의 일본의 대학, 단기 대학, 전문학교, 고등학교등의 교육기관에는 개호 복지학을 교육 연구하고 있는 학과, 전공, 코스가 놓여져 있는 곳이 몇이나 존재하고 있어, 장래는 개호 복지사 등 개호에 종사하는 직업에 종사하는 것을 목표로 하고 있는 사람의 진학처가 되고 있다.
