홋그섬

ホッグ島(-とう　アレウト語:Uknadigax[¹][²])(이)란, 알류티안 열도 폭스 제도를 구성하는 하나의 섬이다.

• 아마크낙크섬의 바로 서쪽에 있어, 터치-하버나 유나라스카 공항으로부터 보이는데 있다.
• 부근은, 와이드만, 브로드만, 나티킨만, 캐프텐즈만, 유나라스카만과 만이 매우 많다.

역사

1852년, 돼지를 의미하는 러시아어(свиньи)를 번역해, 미하일・테베니코후에 의해서 기록되었다.^[2]
