목수 시각 미술 센터

목수 시각 예술 센터(목수 밖에 구예술 센터, 영：Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts)는, 미국 매사추세츠주 케임브리지에 있는 하버드 대학의 시설에서, 건축가르・코르뷰지에에 의한 미국 및 북아메리카 대륙에서 유일한 건축 작품이다.

개요

1963년에 준공한 이 건축은, 1965년에 잠긴 르・코르뷰지에의 최만년의 작품에 해당해, 근대 건축의 5 원칙에 포함되는 필로티나 옥상 정원을 시작해 브리즈・솔레일(차양)이나 쳐 놓아 콘크리트라고 하는 르・코르뷰지에가 다용하는 요소가 채용되고 있다.실시 설계는, 당시의 하버드 대학 건축 학부의 학부장으로, 르・코르뷰지에의 사무소에서 일하고 있었던 적이 있는 호세・루이・세르트가 담당하고 있다.

현재, 목수 시각 예술 센터에는, 시각 환경 학부(Department of Visual and Environmental Studies)와 하버드・필름・아카이브(Harvard Film Archive)가 입주하고 있다.
