개요

객관 첫공연은 1996년 3월 16일.이전에는 몰 손・센터로 불리고 있었지만, 2002년 9월 1일에 벨・캐나다가 명명권을 취득해, 현재의 명칭이 되었다.

대회로서의 이용은 1996년과 2004년의 아이스하키・월드컵, 1997년의 WWF 서바이버・시리즈가 개최되었다.2008년에 행해진 UFC 83으로는 당시의 UFC 사상 최다가 되는 관객 동원수 21390명을 기록했다.2009년에는 NHL 올스타 게임이 개최되었다.
