샤롯트・아마 리(Charlotte Amalie)는, 아메리카 합중국의 자치령인 미국령 버진 제도의 수도.센트・토마스섬에 위치한다.인구는 18,914명(2000년 국세조사).동명의 해항을 가지는 항만 도시에서, 이전에는 카리브해의 해적의 본거지의 하나였지만, 현재는 크루즈 관광항이 되고 있다.2004년에는, 약 150만척의 크루즈 관광선이 정박했다.
샤롯트・아마 리는 북위 18도 20부 36초 서경 64도 55부 49초에 위치하고 있다.기후는 열대의 사바나 기후(Aw)이다.
샤롯트・아마 리는 수많은 역사적 건조물이 남는 역사의 마을이다.1672년에 덴마크의 서인도 회사에 의해서 이주가 시작되어, 1691년에 샤롯트・아마 리가 덴마크령 버진 제도의 수도에 정해졌다.
1967년에 버진 제도를 해일이 덮쳤을 때, 샤롯트・아마 리는 큰 피해를 받은[1].
제1차 세계 대전하의 1917년, 아메리카 합중국은 파나마 운하 방위를 위해서 버진 제도를 덴마크에서 구입했다.1927년에는 주민에게 아메리카 합중국 시민권이 주어졌다.
