dbm (Database Manager)는 데이터 베이스의 분류의 하나이며, 데이터 베이스 관리 시스템(관계 데이터 베이스등)보다 훨씬 단순한 구조를 하고 있다.

파일상에 키와 값의 페어를 해시를 사용해 고속으로 액세스 할 수 있도록(듯이) 배치한 것, 또는 그것을 관리하는 시스템이다.대부분의 것은 트랜잭션 기능이 없다.
