밤타카유키 등불(요타나 호롱)이란, 도야마현의 토나미, 코야베, 남려지방 및 홋카이도 누마타쵸에 전해지는 요타카 축제로 마을을 가다듬어 걷는 거대한 사방등. 밤타카유키 등불은, 행등을 내는 동내의 사람들에 의해서 손수 만들기로 제작된다.

행등의 제작 기간은 동내에 의해서 차이가 있지만, 모두 2개월~수개월과 장기에 걸친다.재료는 주로 대나무와 일본 종이, 세부에서는 철사를 사용해, 채색은 다홍색, 염료, 납(로우) 등이 사용되고 있다.
