존・마렐(John Murrell, 1945년 10월 15일- )은, 아메리카 합중국 출생의 캐나다의 극작가.

존・마렐은 아메리카 합중국 텍사스주 라복크로 태어났다.1968년, 텍사스주 사우스웨스탄 대학(Southwestern University)에서 미술 학사를 취득.그 후, 캐나다의 앨버트주로 옮겼다.캐나다로 옮긴 것은 징병 제도를 피하기 때문에, 캘거리 대학에서 배웠다.2002년, 캐나다 훈장의 사관, 및 앨버트 포장(Alberta Order of Excellence)을 수훈 했다.

러시아 연극, 프랑스 연극등의 번역도 다룬다.
