티타늄 (검은 부분)과 결합하여 뼈 (빨간 부분) 조직 절편

엇 세오 통합(: Osseointegration)는 栂野 수준에서 직접적으로 일체화 된 상태의 것. 에서 뼈를 나타내는 os, 그리스어에서 뼈를 나타내는 osteon과 통합을 나타내는 integration <라틴어로 통합을 나타내는 integrare 에서 신조어. 최근 주류의 중요한 치료 개념이다.

역사

교수이지만 1952 년 토끼의 정강이에 티타늄의 생체 현미경을 장착, 미세 혈류의 관찰 실험을 실시했다. 그기구를 표시하려고했을 때, 티타늄과 뼈가 들러 빼놓을 수 없게 된 것보다 티타늄과 뼈 조직 거부 반응을 일으키지 않고 결합하는 것을 발견이 현상을 엇 세오 통합라고 불렀다 .

임상 응용

이 발견으로 단단히 뼈와 결합 된 치과 임플란트 치료가 가능하며, 현재의 치과 임플란트 치료의 기본 이론의 하나가되고있다. 그러나 현재 진행되고있는 치과 임플란트의 대부분은 치조골의 범위이며, 본래의 의미의 "뼈 결합"이란 의미가 다르다.
