방어 알광

방어 알광(Briartite)은, 금속질로 불투명한 철회색의 유화 광물이다.조성은 Cu₂(Zn, Fe) GeS₄로, 흔적량의 Ga와 Sn를 포함해, 다른 게르마늄-갈륨 함유 황화물의 봉입체로서 볼 수 있다.

1985년에 Francotte등에 의해 콩고 공화국 키프시의 프린스・레오 폴 광산에서 발견되어 키프시의 지층의 형성을 연구한 벨기에의 지질학자 가스 톤・방어 알의 이름에 연관되어 명명되었다.

나미비아, 그리스, 스페인에서도 발견되고 있다.
