이온 현미경

이온 현미경(이온 현미경영명:Field ion microscope)은 전자현미경의 전자 대신에 요코, 헬륨, 리튬등의 이온 빔을 사용해 확대상을 얻는 장치.이온의 물질파의 파장은 전자보다 짧기 때문에, 같은 가속 전압의 전자현미경보다 분해가능이 높고, 결정면의 원자 배열을 관찰할 수 있다.1951년 미국의 E.W.뮐러가 창안.
