1999년에 「서든 대로」의 애칭으로 불리고 있던 치가사키역으로부터 서든 비치치가 앞까지 계속 되는 길의 상가를 「서든 대로 상가」라고 개명한 것이 시작[¹].

서던 올 스타즈의 보컬・쿠와타 카스케의 출신지인 것부터, 그연고의 가게나 상품이 줄선다.
