계측

계측(계측, measurement and instrumentation)이란, 일본의 기술 분야에 있고, 측정(measurement) 대신에 사용되는 용어를 가리키는[¹].

개요

옛부터 상거래의 도량형을 지지하는 측정 기기 생산・정도 관리 업무가 존재하고 있었지만, 근대 산업의 융성에 의해, 만들기에 대해 측정 기기를 구입해, 생산 라인중에 장비하는 기술이 나타나 이것을 계 장(instrumentation)이라고 부르게 된[¹].계 장에는 제어계의 검출단의 장비라고 하는 뉘앙스가 있어, 이러한 의미로부터, 기술 분야에서는 측정(measurement) 대신에 계측이라고 하는 용어가 사용되게 된[¹].
