기욤=안토와느・오리비에(Guillaume-Antoine Olivier, 1756년 1월 19일- 1814년 10월 1일)는, 프랑스의 박물학자, 곤충학자이다.「곤충학, 곤충의 자연사」("Entomologie, ou histoire naturelle des Insectes" (1808) )나 「오스맨 제국, 이집트, 페르시아에의 여행」("Le Voyage dans l'Empire Othoman, l'Egypte et la Perse" (1807))의 저자이다.

생애

툴롱 가까이의 레자 르크(Les Arcs)로 태어났다.몽펠리에 대학에서 의학을 배웠다.박물학자의 브르소네와 친해졌다.고향에서 의사를 시작했지만, 성공하지 않고, 박물학 수집가의 지고=드르트(Jean-Baptiste-Francois Gigot d'Orcy) 로 고용해져 네델란드나 영국등에서 곤충의 수집을 실시해, 풍부한 광물이나 곤충의 컬렉션을 만들어냈다.

10권의 「곤충 학사전」("l'Encyclopedie methodique" (1789-1825))를 집필해, 6권의 「곤충학, 곤충의 자연사」를 집필했다.

1792년부터 6년간, 오스맨 제국, 이집트, 페르시아를 여행해, 많은 표본과 함께 1798년에 프랑스로 돌아왔다.이러한 표본은 현재는 파리 자연사 박물관과 일부는 에딘버러 박물관에 보존되고 있다. [¹].1807년에 「오스맨 제국, 이집트, 페르시아에의 여행」을 집필했다.
