17 살 때 에이전트에 발탁되어 1943 년의 「북극성」로 데뷔. 대표작으로 감독에 기용 된 「」, 「」감독 " '장교 역이있다. 1950 년대 후반부터는 텔레비전 출연이 많아지고 갔다.
