봉서

봉서 (봉서)는 고문서의 일종. 고위자가 그 의사 · 명령 등을 특정에게 전하는 데 가신 등 하위에게 한 번 그 내용을 구두 등에 의해 전해 하위자가 자기의 명의로 그 취지를 기재 한 문서를 작성하고 전달의 대상자 인 특정에게 발급하는 형식을 취한 것. 문서 내용이 발신의 의사와 일치하면 짝을 이루는 개념이다.

중기 이후 이러한 문서를 볼 수있게되고, 그 고위 신분에 따라 구별이 존재한다.
