대요근(매우나름 오지 않아, psoas major muscle)은 포유류의 흉추~요추의 근육으로 가랑이 관절의 굴곡(조금외선), 척주의 굴곡을 실시한다.식육 가축의 이른바 필레육이, 대요근에 상당하는 부분이다.

사람의 대요근

기시는 천부와 심부로 나눌 수 있다.천부(천두)는 제12 흉추와 제1~4 요추의 측면 및 그러한 사이에 개재하는 추간 원판으로부터 일어나, 심부(심두)는 제1~5 요추의 늑골 돌기로부터 기시 해, 장골관계와 합류해 장요근이 되어 장골근막에 싸여 장치융기를 넘어 주행근렬공을 다니며 소굴림대로 끝난다.

대요근의 신경 지배는, 허리 신경총의 근지(Th12), L1-3, (L4)이다.
