그네산

그네산(포르투갈어: Monte Branco)이란, 아프리카 대륙의 바로 서쪽의 대서양상에 위치하는 소타베트 제도를 구성하는 섬의 하나인, 마이오섬에 존재하는 산의 하나이다.덧붙여 명칭의 「branco」는 「희다」라는 의미의 포르투갈어이다.

지리

그네산은, 마이오섬의 중앙부의 약간 동쪽 가까이에 위치하고 있고, 그 산정의 표고는 약 251 m인[¹].

덧붙여 그네산의 북북서에는 마이오섬의 최고봉의 페노즈산(표고 약 437 m)이 존재하고 있어, 어느 쪽의 산도 개발등에서 보호되고 있는[²][³].

덧붙여서, 동섬의 중앙부에는, 이러한 그 밖에도 산이 존재하고 있다.
