마가레트・아챠

마가레트・아챠(Margaret Scotford Archer, 1943년- )는, 영국의 사회학자.워릭크 대학 사회학부 교수.전문은 사회 이론으로, 비판적 실재론(critical realism)의 기수로서 알려진다.

런던 대학을 졸업 후, 1967년에 같은 대학학으로 박사 학위를 취득.leading 대학 강사를 거치고, 1973년부터 워릭크 대학 사회학부 교수.로이・버스 커등의 비판적 실재론의 입장에 속해, 앤터니・기덴즈의 비창발적인 구조의 이중성론에 대한 비판등에서 알려진다.
