웨리아

웨리아(Velia, 이탈리아어 읽기는 베리아)는, 로마의 옵피오의 언덕(에스크이리노의 언덕의 일부)과 파라티노의 언덕과의 늦지 않은 언덕이다.이 소언덕은 1930년대에 포리・인페리아리 그대로의 개통을 위해서 일부가 깎아졌다.

웨리아는 최고의 7언덕으로 꼽히고 있고, 파라티노와 같이 세르위우스・트리우스왕이 나눈 거리의 4구분에 들어가 있었다.

언덕의 영역에는 2 세기의 하드리아누스 치세하에 만들어진 웨누스와 로마 신전의 유적이 정지를 면해 지금도 남아 있다.
