파프아가마그치요타카(파프아 두꺼비구 쏙독새, Podargus papuensis)는, 요타카눈, 가마그치요타카과에 속하는 조류의 1종이다.

아열대나 열대의 습성저지숲에 생식 한다.

형태

평균으로서 전체 길이 약 53 cm, 체중 약 380 g.

전체 길이로는 최대의 가마그치요타카이며, 요타카눈의 최대종인 신열대구의 오오타치요타카(Nyctibius grandis)에 필적하는[¹].오스트라리아가마그치요타카(Podargus strigoides)는 작지만, 자주 체중은 보다 무거워진다.

본종은, 넓고 큰 주둥이를 가져, 눈은 붉고, 미반은 담황색.꼬리는 길고, 날개는 암색.수컷은 조금 크고보다 암색으로 아직들로 보인다.암컷은 보다 적갈색.

생태

일반의 가마그치요타카와 같이 매우 큰 입을 가져, 크게 입을 열고, 주로 큰 곤충을 먹지만, 또한 도마뱀, 개구리, 소형의 설치류도 먹는다.
