얀 파파

2002년에 TBS계로 방송된 텔레비전 드라마 「파파」란 다릅니다.

얀 파파란, 1994년의 유행어인 「얀 마마」의 파생어.

「얀 마마」가 「양키」와「마마」의 복합어인 것과 같게, 「얀 파파」는 「양키인 파파」의 뜻.대체로의 경우는 10대 후반- 20세 전후로 결혼해 아이를 내려 주신 남성을 가리킨다.

최근에는 「양키」의 어감이 희미해져 단지 단지 「젊은(=영어 Young) 파파」라고 하는 의미로 사용되는 경향이 있다.
