O.V.라이트(O.V. Wright, 1939년 10월 9일- 1980년 11월 16일)은 아메리카 합중국의 가수.테네시뢆레노 출생.본명은, 오바톤・바티스・라이트(Overton Vertis Wright).

10대의 무렵부터 고스펠 그룹, 선셋・트래블러즈에 참가.1963년경 솔로로서 활동을 시작해 1964년 멤피스의 골드・왁스・레코드로부터 데뷔하고 있다.
데뷔곡,"That's How Strong My Love Is"는, 오티스・leading이 커버한 것으로 잘 알려져 있다.
그 후 텍사스주의 듀크・레코드 산하의 백・비트・레코드의 소속이 되어 19장의 싱글을 발표한다.
그러나, 백 비트는 O.V.의 재능을 발견해 낼 수 할 수 없었기 때문에, 멤피스의 신생 라벨, 하이의 윌리・미첼을 프로듀서로 기용했다.이것이 공을 세워, O.V.(은)는 그아래에서 뛰어난 작품을 많이 낳아, 비즈니스적으로도 성공을 거두게 된다.그 후, 백 비트는 도산하지만, O.V.(은)는 하이에 이적해 활동을 계속했다.
1979년, 하이・리듬・섹션을 따르게 해 방일 공연을 실시했다.
1980년, 심장병에 의해 41세에 사망했다.
