조지・밴쿠버

조지・밴쿠버(영어：George Vancouver, 1757년 6월 22일- 1798년 5월 12일)는, 아메리카 합중국 워싱턴주・오리건주에서 캐나다・British Columbi주를 탐험한 영국 해군 사관(함장).탐험가로서 알려져 있다.그는, 캐나다의 서해안에 복수 존재하는 밴쿠버를 포함한 지명의 명조이기도 하다.조지는, 오스트레일리아 서남도 탐험하고 있다.
