카르디오돈(Cardiodon "하트의 치아"의 의미(치아의 형태를 기념하여))는 룡각류의 속이며, 잉글랜드, 위르트샤의 포레스트 대리석 누층(en)의 쥬라기 중기 바 렘기의 지층으로부터 발견된 이에 근거하고 있다.역사적으로는 매우 애매한 속이며, 자주 케티오사우르스이라고 되기도 했지만, 최근의 연구로는 독자적인 속이며, 트리아사우르스에 근친일 가능성이 있다고 여겨지고 있다.

연구사와 분류
